Crèdit Andorrà has been named the best bank in Andorra for private banking by the financial publications The Banker and PWM of the Financial Times Group, which annually award the best banks worldwide. The publications highlight the bank’s capacity to adapt its business model in the digital world, while maintaining and improving the relationship with its customers and promoting personalised service in today’s challenging environment. 


The Group strengthens its position on the European market and its private international banking activity

Crèdit Andorrà has reached an agreement with the Italian banking group Gruppo Banca Sella for the purchase of 100% of Banque BPP SA, which is located in Luxembourg. The signing for the transaction took place in Luxembourg after it was authorised by the regulatory bodies in Luxembourg (CSSF) and Andorra (INAF) and approved by the two banks.

Banco Alcalá will increase its share capital by 15%, bringing in Riva y García with 10% and the Ros family with 5%

The Board of Directors of Banco Alcalá, the Crèdit Andorrà Group's private banking subsidiary in Spain, have resolved to propose to their shareholders a 15% increase in its share capital, bringing in two new strategic partners, the financial group Riva y García, which will hold 10% of the entity's capital, and the Ros González family, which will hold 5%, once the transaction is finished.

The Andorran bank acquires 51% of the Peruvian KRESE SIV and 70% of the Paraguayan Valores Casa de Bolsa S.A.

The Crèdit Andorrà Group, leader in the financial market of the Principality of Andorra, has become the first Andorran financial institution to set up operations both in Peru and Paraguay. Through both acquisitions, authorised by the regulators in Peru and Paraguay and by the Andorran National Institute of Finance (ANIF), the Group has strengthened its position in the international financial system at the same time as consolidating its presence in the Latin American market even further.

The Crèdit Andorrà Group, financial market leader in the Principality of Andorra, has won the prize for the best Andorran bank in private banking for 2013, an award granted by the Financial Times group every year, through its prestigious publications The Banker and PWM.

Its activity will focus on developing and selling global asset management for private and institutional clients

The Crèdit Andorrà Group, leader in the Principality of Andorra’s financial market, has now acquired 85% of the share capital of Banco SA Alcalá, after receiving authorization from the Andorran National Institute of Finance (INAF), the Bank of Spain, the Spanish financial securities markets' regulatory body (CNMV) and the Directorate General for Insurance and Pension Funds (DGSFP).

This is the first Andorran financial group to enter the United States as a licensed broker/dealer

The Crèdit Andorrà Group, leader in the Principality of Andorra’s financial market, has officially acquired 80% of Beta Capital Management LP’s share capital. The latter’s head office is in Miami. The step was taken after being authorized by the Andorran National Institute of Finance (ANIF) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
