  • Crèdit Andorrà and the town councils of Canillo and la Massana sign a pre-agreement on a unified snow market model
  • The initial shareholding distribution is 40.09% by Canillo, 39.66% by Crèdit Andorrà and 19.9% by la Massana, with a progressive process of parity occurring over the next six years by the latter

This Sunday, the town councils of Canillo and la Massana and Crèdit Andorrà signed a pre-agreement for the creation of a new company that aims to integrate 100% of the shares of ENSISA and EMAP, the companies that operate the Soldeu El Tarter and Pal Arinsal ski


• The Bank consolidates its support for the Andorran economy and society with an increase in loan investment amounting to EUR 2.442 billion, and is the leader in the constitution of soft loans for companies and businesses, with 67% of the total amount

• The total regulatory capital ratio increased to 17.63% (15.91% CET1)

• The Group’s business volume and profits have continued to grow in the major financial markets where it has a presence, such as Spain, Luxembourg and Miami


• The fact the rating remains the same highlights the consolidation of the business strategy in a context marked by the COVID-19 crisis

• It also endorses the Bank’s leadership in support for the Andorran economy and its growth in business volume and profits internationally  


The fifth exhibition at the Andorran museum offers a dialogue between two collections

At a press conference, the Carmen Thyssen Museum in Andorra and Crèdit Andorrà presented the Museum’s new exhibition, “Talented Painters from Rigalt to Puigdengolas”. This exhibition focuses on the artistic dialogue between the Art Collection of Crèdit Andorrà and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection. It will be inaugurated on 11 February 2021 and the exhibition will remain open until 9 January 2022. It will open to the public from 12 February.


• Scale Lab Andorra is a programme to support the business growth of start-ups.

• In the first year, over 350 projects were evaluated resulting in four investments.

Crèdit Andorrà’s business hyperacceleration programme, Scale Lab Andorra, has invested in four companies in its first year. Scale Lab Andorra is an investment and business support programme aimed at start-ups, which has the goal of facilitating the consolidation and/or expansion of the companies selected.


• The website gives centre stage to the artwork, with a very visual design for experts and the general public alike.

• The new website is launched as part of the bank’s action plan to boost the digitalisation of products and services, which now extend into the field of knowledge and culture.

• The new art collection includes a significant number of works from the most representative artists of the golden age of Catalan painting, and it is now complemented further with a set of 68 perfectly preserved coins.

International expansion

The agreement with the Catalan and Portuguese companies is a strategic alliance that will allow the partners to take advantage of the complementary nature of the products and services they offer

Crèdit Andorrà, the leading financial group in Andorra, has reached an agreement with Mútua General de Catalunya and the Portuguese insurance company Caravela under which they will become shareholders of CA Life Insurance Experts, the Crèdit Andorrà Group's Spanish life insurance company.


• The new holding company is 51% owned by ERM and 49% owned by RSM
• The result of this agreement is the first private insurance brokerage in Spain


ERM Holding, part of the Crèdit Andorrà Group, and the holding company RSM have reached an agreement to merge their brokerage and consultancy businesses. The operation creates the new holding company, ERSM Insurance Brokers, a leader in the Spanish market as the first private insurance brokerage in Spain. The new holding company is formed by ERM (51%) and RSM (49%).


The two publications belonging to the Financial Times Group have recognised the Bank’s digital transformation and its customer service orientation, as well as the balance between its leading position in Andorra and its international expansion.

This commendation comes following the Bank also winning this award last year, and being rated as Bank of the Year in Andorra by The Banker in 2016 and 2017.


• During his speech to shareholders, Chairman of the Crèdit Andorrà Board of Directors, Antoni Pintat, stressed “the financial strength of Crèdit Andorrà” and said “the bank has to lead and preserve the essential, its commitment to clients and country, while growing in the world of responsible innovation”

• Crèdit Andorrà Managing Director until now, Josep Peralba retires after more than 51 years of service to the bank. He was given heartfelt thanks and an emotional farewell by the Board and the shareholders
