The two publications belonging to the Financial Times Group have recognised the Bank’s digital transformation and its customer service orientation, as well as the balance between its leading position in Andorra and its international expansion.
This commendation comes following the Bank also winning this award last year, and being rated as Bank of the Year in Andorra by The Banker in 2016 and 2017.

ERM Holding, part of the Crèdit Andorrà Group, and the holding company RSM have reached an agreement to merge their brokerage and consultancy businesses. The operation creates the new holding company, ERSM Insurance Brokers, a leader in the Spanish market as the first private insurance brokerage in Spain. The new holding company is formed by ERM (51%) and RSM (49%).
Fitch Ratings agency has maintained Crèdit Andorrà’s long-term rating at BBB, with a stable outlook, and the short-term rating at F3. This rating reflects the banks’ financial strength and the ability of the Group’s business model to produce recurrent profits from its ordinary activities.
• During his speech to shareholders, Chairman of the Crèdit Andorrà Board of Directors, Antoni Pintat, stressed “the financial strength of Crèdit Andorrà” and said “the bank has to lead and preserve the essential, its commitment to clients and country, while growing in the world of responsible innovation”
• Crèdit Andorrà Managing Director until now, Josep Peralba retires after more than 51 years of service to the bank. He was given heartfelt thanks and an emotional farewell by the Board and the shareholders
• The financial publication World Finance awards this prize for the best provider of wealth management in Andorra to Crèdit Andorrà, in acknowledgment of the entity’s soundness, its management model and its capacity for innovation
• The prize emphasises that Crèdit Andorrà has solid, proactive and holistic knowledge of its clients’ needs and objectives
• The consolidated net profit was 50.1 million euro, in line with the forecast figures for a year marked by changes in banking models and adjustments for compliance with new regulations in Andorra and on an international scale.
• The bank won prizes as Bank of the Year in Andorra (‘The Banker’) and Best Private Bank in Andorra (‘The Banker’ and PWM), with recognition of ‘Banking Innovation’ for Merkaat (Efma).
The financial magazine has granted the private banking award to Crèdit Andorrà for the sixth consecutive year, and acknowledges its social responsibility policies for the fourth year
Global Banking & Finance Review has recognised Crèdit Andorrà as the best private banking in Andorra for the sixth consecutive year, together with the award for best Andorran bank in CSR 2018, for its fourth year, regarding its social responsibility policy.
Efma chooses this new service, the first digital investment advisor in Andorra, for a banking innovation award
Merkaat, the first digital investment advisor of Andorra, developed by Crèdit Andorrà, has been chosen by Efma as banking innovation. The association has decided to give the award to this service, a new presentation this year, for its unique quality and service level, noting the differential factor involved.
This is the ninth time the bank has won this award
This year the bank has also been recognised as best in Andorran in private banking by the financial magazines ‘The Banker’ and ‘PWM’ of the Financial Times Group
