• The digital award recognises the Bank’s renewed efforts to be pioneers in the creation of digital solutions adapted to the needs of customers

• This is the sixth consecutive year that the Bank has been named the best CSR Bank in Andorra

Crèdit Andorrà has been named the Best Digital Bank in Andorra 2021 for the second consecutive year and the Best CSR Bank in the Principality for the seventh consecutive year by the international publication Global Banking & Finance Review. These awards, recognised among the banking and finance community around the world, commend the innovation, strategy and progressive and inspiring changes carried out by financial institutions that stand out for their efforts and experience in specific areas of their business.
The awards recognise Crèdit Andorrà for its way of understanding the banking of the future. A value proposition based on being pioneers in the creation or innovative, convenient and agile digital solutions based on a commitment to sustainability. This year, the actions carried out to adapt to the situation caused by the pandemic and to remain even closer to customers, the economic and business fabric and society in general stand out. The awards are also an endorsement of the firm commitment to the country and its people, through the social responsibility actions carried out by the Bank and the Crèdit Andorrà Foundation.

Pioneers in digital solutions designed for customers

The bank was named the Best Digital Bank Andorra 2021, in recognition of the work carried out to create and implement new digital services to simplify banking for both individual and corporate customers, and to respond to the new needs emerging in the current scenario. As a result of this dive to digitalise its services, Crèdit Andorrà has seen an exponential increase in the use of e-Crèdit online banking, as well as remote contracting and services such as ‘My Account Manager’, which allows customers to contact and interact with the Bank virtually.
This recognition also consolidates the efforts made to design products to facilitate digital payments in a simple way. Along these lines, digital payment solutions have been developed such as the Crèdit Virtual POS, which allows for online sales and the acceptance of card payments through a secure e-commerce platform. The Bank has also developed the Crèdit Link POS, which allows for payments via email, SMS or WhatsApp, without the need to have a website.

In addition, an exclusive agreement has been reached with the fintech MONEI, to facilitate digital payments and integration with the main e-commerce platforms for the country's businesses, companies and self-employed workers.
The communication initiatives carried out in the last year —such as the organisation of webinars to analyse the situation of financial markets in the context of the impact and development of the pandemic, or to publicise new digital products and services— are another example of Crèdit Andorrà’s commitment to the continuous development of initiatives focused on improving the customer service and experience.

Contributing to the growth of the business fabric and social development

With regard to the CSR award, Crèdit Andorrà has been named the best CSR Bank Andorra 2021 for the seventh consecutive year thanks to the corporate social responsibility policy implemented by the Bank and the Crèdit Andorrà Foundation in the areas of education, culture, society and environment. The award also recognises the actions carried out by the Bank to support the country’s economy and business fabric, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Several actions were launched this year to contribute to the economic and social recovery, and to help those affected by the crisis.
The Bank is a pioneer in incorporating CSR and sustainability in its management model and business strategy, and it also expresses this commitment as a member of various international bodies. Since 1998, Crèdit Andorrà has collaborated on the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP FI) and, in 2016, it was the first Andorran bank to join the UN Global Compact and to adopt the 2030 Agenda to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
